Shodan (1st Degree Black Belt)
Bill Crupi started training Aikido in 2013 at Florida Aikido Center under Gina Boccolucci. He also began training in Iaido at that same time. Bill currently holds the rank of Shodan in the United States Aikido Federation.
He keeps up with a regular training schedule and trains at seminars with key Aikido instructors multiple times a year, including the remaining direct students of O'Sensei. He has also trained with top instructors including Y. Yamada, P. Bernath, C. Berthiaume, G. Rodriguez, I. Shibata, D. Waite, H. Ikeda, M. Saotome, etc.
Bill began teaching the adult beginner's class at Florida Aikido Center in 2014 and has kept a consistent teaching schedule since then. Bill’s devotion to Aikido has allowed him to travel to Japan multiple times and participate in classes with the current Doshu, Moriteru Ueshiba and Waka Sensei, direct descendants of the founder of Aikido.
